It's been way too goddamn long since I've given a proper update on the process of the novel. It's been, oh y'know... 5 months (jesus christ) since I've last just openly discussed about it?

BUT I'm here to talk to maybe the 2 followers who actually give a damn about the development processes of the novel, so, here it is.

• I am currently on CHAPTER 13 of the first draft! (With varying sized gaps amongst the previous ones that need filled.)
• In total, there should be 22 Chapters. (There will be no Prologues or Epilogues.)
• The current cover is not final and will be updated in the future to represent the new grimmer art direction that the book will have with its illustrations.
• The book is a HORROR NOVEL. There will be tidbits of humor within the novel, though realistically dry.
• If all goes according to plan, taking college into account and my chunky writing routine/schedule, the book should potentially be published LATE 2025, TO EARLY 2026, but that is a VERY FLEXIBLE ESTIMATE.
• In celebration of the first draft being halfway through completion, an entire chapter called "HOME INVASION" from the first draft of REVIVIFIED will be publicly released to read when it is completed. This one singular chapter will feature Ari - Niko's Mother - face against the mangled revivified copy of Alcove in her own home as she attempts to pack the essentials to face them with her son and his friends, while also trying to escape the intruded family home.
• When the release date of the novel is made official and revealed, posters will be revealed as each day passes on to build up to the release of the novel. Only one of these posters has been completed, and while I will not show it now, a photo taken of it while it was in progress has been posted above.
